(Scottsdale) Today from the East Valley, former State Representative Laura Knaperek announced her support for Congressman David Schweikert.

Knaperek, who served as the House Appropriations Chairwoman, said, "As a mother and grandmother, we simply must restore America's fiscal health. Our Nation faces skyrocketing debt, record deficit spending and an entitlement system that will bankrupt our children's future."

Knaperek continued: "David is singularly gifted with finance and budgets. Congress desperately needs Congressman Schweikert for his expertise and leadership on fiscal matters. We need David in Congress more than ever."
